And for those times when you need to connect wirelessly, this stylish keyboard features wireless pairing technology so you can get started in no time at all.

With backlit keys and innovative touchpad gestures, this high-performance accessory offers everything you need for work or play. What’s more, it attaches to the magnetic power connector built into your Surface device for stable use—no wires required!
#3 Logitech K780 Multi-Device Wireless Keyboard: Third up is the Logitech K780 Multi-Device Wireless Keyboard. Designed to accommodate both PC and Mac devices, this versatile option connects up to three different computers without needing any additional software.
#4 Wireless Illuminated Chiclet Backlit Gaming Keyboard by Rii: Coming in fourth place is the Wireless Illuminated Chiclet Backlit Gaming Keyboard by Rii.
#2 Logitech K380 Multi-Device Bluetooth Keyboard
If you’re looking for a wireless keyboard that will be compatible with most devices, this is an excellent choice. It has a compact, sleek design and can be used as a standalone wireless keyboard or paired with any other device through Bluetooth connectivity.
The K380 also features an integrated stand that is made out of rubber to provide traction when placing your device on the back while typing. Another cool feature is Logitech’s easy-switching between three devices, so you can quickly alternate between working on different devices without needing to go through pairing steps again. Plus, this multi-device keyboard comes in at a reasonable price point (about $50).
#3 Microsoft Surface Type Cover 4 for Surface Go
Do you love Microsoft’s flagship tablet, the Surface Go? Perhaps you’re not sold on Windows 10 or have no interest in a laptop. Maybe your Chromebook can’t match up to the Surface Pro 2. Whatever your reason, there are many reasons to love the Microsoft Surface Type Cover 4 for Surface Go. It’s easy to take with you and slips right into your bag.
The case is made of durable cloth that ensures none of your keys are ever mistakenly pressed while carrying it around. Plus, it has an attractive design that will look as good on the bus as at a coffee shop. You’ll need a Surface Pen if you want to use any sort of drawing apps. If you’re one of those people who only really needs the keyboard when they get back home, then this is perfect!
#4 Logitech iPad Keyboard Folio
Logitech’s newest iPad keyboard is what Apple should have made to begin with. We say that because it can handle the angles, or being laid flat, and when paired with a Bluetooth device, it means you can use your iPad as a standalone computer. The keys are nice and responsive. One thing we do like is the inclusion of backlit keys that make typing in the dark possible without waking your partner up! The power button is also at a great position on the top left so you don’t accidentally turn it off when trying to do another function.
It has the best battery life out of all our keyboards – six months on one charge – and there’s even an option for fast charging which will give you two hours of usage after just 15 minutes plugged in. What this means is that if you’re going away for three days, taking your laptop but no charger, then this will be perfect to take instead as it’ll keep running while plugged into any USB port. It also doubles up as a stand for watching videos too which might come in handy. All-in-all this is easily one of our favorite keyboards around!
#5 Apple Smart Keyboard for 12.9 inch iPad Pro
Known for its innovation, Apple has been under a lot of scrutiny for the last few years when it comes to innovation. The Smart Keyboard features keys that are all flush with the surface, minimizing any keystroke bounce and maximizing comfort on your wrists. The keyboard automatically illuminates as soon as you open the cover and shuts off when you close it, saving a substantial amount of power from an always-on display.
There is also a new dark mode designed to cut down on screen glare at night. The keyboard connects to your device via Bluetooth, so it’ll never suffer from being out of range because there’s no need for pesky cords connecting it to your iPad Pro or draining its battery.
#6 Microsoft Universal Foldable Keyboard
Sixth on the list is the Microsoft Universal Foldable Keyboard. It’s affordable, flexible, and available in a variety of colors. Plus, it’s compatible with Android and iOS devices. This foldable keyboard also comes with Windows compatibility for all your Office needs.
The Microsoft Universal Foldable Keyboard is about half the size when folded up and has an ergonomic design for typing on-the-go. The keys are silicone to help reduce noise so you don’t disturb others around you or feel self-conscious. With this keyboard you can type while lying down, sitting up at a desk, or anywhere else that feels comfortable thanks to its folding design.
#7 Apple Magic Keyboard with Numeric Keypad
iStentor’s seventh favorite keyboard is the Apple Magic Keyboard with Numeric Keypad. If you’re not sure which type of keyboard to buy, and you work primarily in a business setting, this is the one for you.
The $149 USD price tag may seem high at first, but it’s well worth it when you consider the many perks. One, its compact size and light weight make it perfect for commuting from home to office on foot or via public transportation.
Two, the ten inch cord ensures that all your desktops are within reach as soon as you sit down at your desk.
Three, the backlit keys will illuminate in dark rooms and will even adjust according to your needs – ideal for those who like working late into the night.
Four, no need to worry about whether or not there’s enough room for yet another device on your desk because there’s only one plug-in required for use!
Five, no worries about forgetting how to type on a full-size keyboard because this product has a numpad included!
And finally six, if you have an older Macbook that lacks numbers pad then this product is just what you need because it also doubles as an external numeric keypad!
#8 Apple Magic Keyboard (2018)

#9 Microsoft Universal Mobile Keyboard
One of the worst things that can happen while you’re typing is not knowing which key you hit. Microsoft has been able to avoid this problem through their Universal Mobile Keyboard which is an external keyboard that pairs with your laptop, tablet, or phone and recognizes which device it’s on.
No more searching for the right letter when composing emails from bed. Plus it’s got a cushioned rest for your hands and a built-in mouse so you don’t have to search for that either. It also has plenty of key backlighting if you’re typing in low light conditions, plus two USB ports at the back if you need to charge something while you work. That’s nine sentences… better stop here before I write the whole thing.
The Universal Mobile Keyboard by Microsoft definitely deserves its ninth place spot thanks to all its nifty features, but there are other keyboards out there too! Read on and see if another one takes top honors!
#7 Apple Bluetooth Wireless Fast Typing Keyboard: Everyone who uses an Apple product will tell you they’re easy to use. But did you know they’re also easy to type with? If you want to get really good feedback on how fast you type then this keyboard is perfect for you. You’ll never accidentally press two keys at once because each key has been spaced just far enough apart from the next so that you’ll always know what fingers went where.
All these great features come at a cost though–the price tag is going to make it tough for some people to justify buying this over cheaper models, but if cost isn’t an issue then go ahead and indulge yourself!#5 Logitech K380 Multi-Device Bluetooth Keyboard: If you own more than one device (who doesn’t?) then having a single keyboard for them all might be worth looking into.
#10 Anker Ultra Compact Portable Foldable Bluetooth Mini Wireless Keyboard
Anker’s Ultra Compact Portable Foldable Bluetooth Mini Wireless Keyboard is a favorite for many reasons. It’s one of the most compact keyboards around, its size making it easy to carry or to store in your bag when you’re traveling or on the go. It also offers a battery life that lasts around 12 months—perfect for a keyboard that’s too small to include an onboard rechargeable battery.
The ultra-thin profile (just .36 inches) makes this keyboard both comfortable and usable for long periods at a time as well. This tiny little device is perfect for people who have cluttered desktops and don’t have enough room for their laptop with the built-in mouse and keyboard, or those who spend their days on the road! There are a few drawbacks though. There are no backlit keys which means typing can be hard in low light settings, and the lack of portability means that if you want to use this keyboard for anything other than typing then you will need to buy a separate adapter since it doesn’t come with any USB ports.
