What we know about the new PlayStation so far
The new PlayStation is set to release in late 2022. Sony has not announced an official price point yet, but the console is rumored to cost around $499. The new console will be backwards compatible with PS4 games and will also support 4K gaming. The new controller for the PS5 will feature haptic feedback and adaptive triggers, as well as a built-in microphone and speaker.
Sony has also said that the console will be more energy efficient than its predecessor. What we don’t know about the new PlayStation so far: A release date, specs on what’s inside of it, or what games are coming out with it. We can expect an update at E3 2023next year! We know even less about the Nintendo Switch Lite which is rumored to come out this Fall 2022. When will PS5 be released?
