I’ll admit that I was skeptical when I saw the price tag, but after spending some time with it myself and reading through reviews, I think this is definitely worth the investment. It comes with a remote control and scheduling options so you can always have your floors clean even if you aren’t home.
I love being able to come home after running errands or working late and not have to worry about cleaning my floors before relaxing. And now that we have pets as well as kids, this little guy has saved me so much time.

After unpacking everything and charging the battery for 16 hours (longer than necessary) I set it loose on my living room floor- both carpeted and hardwood. It did so well on the hardwood portion I didn’t even need to use it on the carpet as well, but I gave it a go anyway because what else do you do when your house is clean? It managed to get all the dirt in between my rugs and left them looking spotless.
When used in tandem with my Bissell Pet Hair Eraser Cordless Handheld Vacuum Cleaner For Pets Upholstery & Carpet our home felt truly spick and span. My favorite part about this vacuum though was how much easier it was just to use as opposed to lugging our old upright around every few days. It weighs less than 8 pounds and we’re not using any extension cords or anything so it feels really good to be able to have a nice vacuum without the added weight.
I’m also excited about being able to start scheduling time for vacuuming with Google Home through their OK Google voice command. That means that after dinner I can tell her OK Google, start cleaning upstairs, and she’ll give me back a timer telling me how long until she’s done before continuing on her own while we relax downstairs. Is it worth $899.99?
Since I can’t seem to clean my house, I’ve been really wanting a robot vacuum. I couldn’t justify spending $599 on the Roomba 650 so that’s why the new iRobot Roomba i7+ was a great find for me! After looking at many reviews and YouTube videos, I decided it was worth the higher price tag.
Unlike other robot vacuums, the Roomba is safe for pets (I have two cats) and has WiFi capabilities. You can create rooms in your home that you want the robot to clean with a virtual wall then set up schedules with Alexa or Google Assistant. You don’t need to keep picking up little hairball balls and they’re even approved by asthma/allergy associations. Plus, the noise level is way lower than most vacuum cleaners which means you can do it while people are sleeping! My only complaint would be that when I try to use it during the day,
there are too many people around so sometimes it gets stuck. Luckily there’s an app that lets you know where your Roomba is located when this happens so all you have to do is unplug and replug back in. All-in-all, this is the best robot vacuum yet because of its simplicity and ability to connect with other smart devices!
